Baseball: Chaparral forfeits game after pitcher threw 11 innings in a week
Chaparral has forfeited a 5-0 Southwestern League win over Vista Murrieta last week after it was discovered that Cameron Haskell threw 11 innings in a week, Southern Section spokesman Thom Simmons said.
Pitchers are allowed a maximum 10 innings in a week.
The victory moves Vista Murrieta to 16-8 and 9-4 in league.
