Baseball: Adrian Damla hits two home runs in Crescenta Valley victory

Adrian Damla, a UC Irvine signee, showed off his power on Wednesday, hitting two home runs in Crescenta Valley’s 5-1 road victory over Los Osos.
Sophomore pitcher Will Smiley allowed one run for the Falcons (2-0) in six innings.
Glendora improved to 3-0 with a 10-7 win over Diamond Ranch. Chris Takayoshi went four for four with two RBIs. Bryce Wooldridge, Caleb Watkins and Devin Rodgers each contributed two RBIs.
Edison defeated Downey, 4-2. Vince Inman didn’t allow any earned runs in six innings. Kyler Arenado had two hits.
Hagen Danner hit a home run in Huntington Beach’s 10-6 win over Riverside Poly. Steve Ramirez hit a grand slam in Etiwanda’s 18-3 win over San Dimas.
Redlands East Valley defeated Shadow Hills, 8-2. Keller Raborn had a triple and double.
Northridge Academy defeated Reseda, 9-2. Jessie Torres threw a complete game with six strikeouts. Hector Hernandez had two doubles and five RBIs.
