Clippers complete trade of Sam Dekker to Cleveland
The Clippers announced Tuesday that they had officially traded forward Sam Dekker to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Clippers will also send the draft rights to Renaldas Seibutis to the Cavaliers and in return will get a trade exception of $2.8 million from Cleveland and the draft rights to Vladimir Veremeenko.
Dekker, who was acquired by the Clippers last season as a part of the Chris Paul trade, averaged 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 73 games last season.
The Clippers now have a 16-man roster, one above the NBA maximum. They will have to either trade or waive another player to reach the 15-player limit.
