Two men sought in Home Depot gift-card cases
Huntington Beach police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of fraudulently obtaining gift cards from two local Home Depot stores.
Authorities say the suspects may have fraudulently purchased more than $1,200 worth of Visa and MasterCard gift cards from the Home Depot stores at 19101 Magnolia St. and 7100 Warner Ave. Additionally, officials believe that the men are a part of a scheme in Southern California that has resulted in a $400,000 loss to Home Depot stores in the region, Huntington Beach police said.
Officials did not specify how the gift cards were purchased.
Anyone with information regarding the incidents is asked to call Huntington Beach police at (714) 375-5066.
