Breakdown: Orange Coast (0-4) found some resolve last week in a 42-35 loss at Grossmont in which it led the Griffins, ranked No. 13 in the state, in the final quarter … The Pirates look to post their first win against another San Diego County opponent … The Olympians (0-4) rank at or near the bottom of several statistical categories in the Southern California Football Assn, including last (No. 37) in scoring at 30 points per game … Fourteen individuals in the SCFA have scored as many or more points this season than San Diego Mesa … The Olympians are averaging just 75 yards passing per game and they rank last in the SCFA in total offense (162.2 yards per contest) … OCC jump-started its offense against Grossmont, including 247 rushing yards and four rushing TDs … OCC has had just one TD pass this season, the same total posted by the Olympians … OCC will honor the 1975 national championship team that went 11-0 during halftime … OCC Coach Mike Taylor said Corbin Davis, a linebacker who had been the team’s leading tackler after three games, is out for the season with a neck injury.
