Lifeletics baseball camp starts Monday

The Lifeletics Summer Baseball Camp, a five-day workout involving elite instruction from professional coaches, begins its next summer session Monday at LeBard Park, home of Seaview Little League.

The academy runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through Thursday. Morning stations will blend individual instruction with station-to-station work (pitching, hitting, fielding, outfield, repetitions), with each athlete receiving small-group private instruction in each station.

Following a short break, the itinerary continues with quick-hitting, high-energy station instruction in fundamental areas such as rundowns, cuts/relays, team defense, skills, baseball athleticism and swing repetition.

The summer academy, now in its 10th year, also involves an Olympic-style competition as well as game competition and position-specific training. Lifeletics’ Format B involves game competition, as well. The final camp of the summer is Aug. 23 to 27 at LeBard Park.
