WESTLAKE VILLAGE —‎ Cole Pender finished with 19 kills in the visiting Sailors’ 25-23, 25-22, 17-25, 22-25, 15-8 win in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs on Saturday. Landon Monroe and Dayne Chalmers each had 11 kills for Newport Harbor, while Spencer Lawrence added nine kills.The No. 4-seeded Sailors‎ (28-3) play at No. 1 Los Angeles Loyola in the semifinals on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Oak Park def. Huntington Beach

OAK PARK — The Oilers lost at Oak Park, which won 25-21, 25-23, 25-15, 25-21 in the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs on Saturday. Huntington Beach finished 24-11.
