RIVERSIDE — Zach Olow and Amani Walker each scored to help the No. 8-ranked Anteaters come from behind to win the Big West Conference match Wednesday.

Brett Berman assisted on each goal, Olow scoring in the 37th minute and Walker in the 59th, when Miguel Ibarra also had the assist.

UCI (12-1-2, 5-0-1 in conference) trailed after UCR (4-9-1, 1-5-0) scored in the 22nd minute.

COSTA MESA — Mario Merdzic scored in the third minute for the No. 18-ranked Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference match Wednesday.

Kyle O’Brien had the assist for Vanguard (9-7, 8-1 in conference).

COSTA MESA — The Lions outshot Biola, 15-6, in the Golden State Athletic Conference match Wednesday.

Jessica Austin scored in the 100th minute for Biola (5-4-6, 2-2-5 in conference). Vanguard dropped to 8-6-3, 2-5-2.

Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown

BOULDER CREEK, Nev. — UC Irvine finished 15th at the Boulder Creek Golf Club.

The Anteaters fired a three-round total of 907 (309-293-305) in the 17-team field. Arkansas won the team title with 846 (277-276-293), 23 shots ahead of second place Kent State.

UCI junior Lalita Patipaksiri finished in a tie for 27th with a 54-hole score of 222 (74-73-75), while freshman Ronnie Valerio was tied for 45th with 226 (79-73-74).
