Mt. SAC Invitational

WALNUT — Tori Sarris, Maggie Goodson, Kat Maddox and Cailtlin Mead finished in the top 30 to help the Newport Harbor High girls’ team finish sixth out of 21 teams in its division at Mt. San Antonio College Saturday.

Sarris, a senior, finished 21st in 19 minutes, 36 seconds, followed by Goodson, who was 22nd in 19:37, Maddox, who was 24th in 19:45 and Mead, who was 29th in 19:54. Ashley Ima came in 46th in 20:18 for the Sailors.

Mt. SAC Invitational

WALNUT — Hunter Strodel finished 26th and Raquel Friedmann was 27th to help the Costa Mesa High girls take 10th in Division IV at Mt. San Antonio College Saturday.

Strodel finished in 20 minutes, 39 seconds and Friedmann in 20:41. Kristi Adams was 39th in 21:11.

Robert Blackwell finished 25th in 17:20 and Matt Morgan was 28th in a personal-best 17:23 to help the Costa Mesa boys finish 13th in Division IV.
