NEWPORT BEACH — Dan Stevens scored three goals for the Sailors in the nonleague game Friday at Newport Harbor.

Andrew Duhoux had two goals, three assists and three steals, while Preston Lee had one goal, one assist and four steals for Newport Harbor (14-2), ranked No. 5 in the CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll. The Breakers entered ranked No. 1 in Division III.

Chris Whitelegge recorded eight saves and Farrel South contributed one goal, two assists, two steals and three field blocks for the Sailors, who play at El Toro today at 1 p.m.

Sage Hill def. Crean Lutheran South

NEWPORT COAST —Natasha Sakraney and Zoe Kreitenberg had 11 kills each to help the Lightning to a 25-20, 25-20, 25-23 Academy League win.

Alaina Lewis had 17 assists, four kills, four blocks and eight digs, while Dina Aluzri had 10 assists and three digs for Sage Hill (8-12, 4-0 in league).

CYPRESS — Rian Billingsley and Liana Korber swept at No. 1 doubles for the Lightning in the Academy League match Friday.

Ava Soleimany and Kimberly Brown swept at No. 3 doubles for Sage Hill (9-4, 5-1 in league).
