High School Roundup: Huntington Beach boys' volleyball edged out at Santa Barbara in CIF Division 2 final

The Huntington Beach High School boys’ volleyball team rallied to extend the match, but the Oilers came up just short at top-seeded Santa Barbara 25-21, 25-18, 29-31, 21-25, 15-9 on Saturday in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 final.

Liam Phinizy had a team-high 18 kills for Huntington Beach (14-5). Cayman LaFontaine added 15 kills, and Trent Douphner had 11 kills.
