IRRELEVANT WEEK
With my daughter, Stacy, and son-in-law, Kyle Howard, I attended the welcoming party for Mr. Irrelevant, Cheta Ozougwu, the 254th and last pick of the 2011 NFL draft, who will play for the Houston Texans.
A large crowd turned out June 20 at Newport Dunes including many Commodore Club members and business leaders who continue to support Irrelevant Week and Irrelevant Week founder Paul Salata.
A new twist this year was the off-duty Newport Beach fire personnel who provided the food and beverage and no admission charge for the event. The evening was great fun. Good luck, Mr. Irrelevant!
