Boehner will attend Reagan Cup golf tourney

The OC GOP’s third annual Reagan Cup golf tournament in Newport Beach on Oct. 17 will also double as a fundraiser for House Speaker John Boehner, who will attend as a special guest, according to the organization’s website.

The event costs $2,500 per golfer or $1,000 to just attend the lunch reception. Boehner will be joined by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Costa Mesa) and Rep. Ed Royce (R-Orange) for the event, hosted at the Resort at Pelican Hill, 22701 Pelican Hill Road South in Newport Coast.

Warm-ups for the event begin at 7:45 a.m. with the tee time at 8:30 a.m. The lunch reception will immediately follow the round.
