The crash at 8:23 a.m. sent one person to the Kaiser Permanente Irvine Medical Center and two to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, said CHP Officer Denise Quesada. Their injuries were minor, said Brenda Emrick, a spokeswoman for Costa Mesa Fire Department.

The accident happened at the southbound 405 connector to the southbound Corona del Mar (73) Freeway, Quesada said.
