Ed Reno receives endorsement
The Family Action Political Action Committee has endorsed Ed Reno for Newport Beach City Council.
Reno, a lobbyist for drug company Allergan, is running for the city’s 3rd District seat. He’s aiming to replace Councilman Don Webb, who is termed out.
The endorsement comes two weeks after the California Republican Party endorsed him. Reno is running on fiscal responsibility and plans on using his political connections on the city’s largest issues.
His opponent, Rush Hill, is running as a Newport Beach insider.
