Robert Ziegler, 1965 – 2010

Our beloved son, brother, uncle and dear friend, Robert Ziegler, passed away peacefully this past weekend.

Robert is survived by a loving family, including his mother and stepfather, Carol and Bruce Andrews; siblings Adam (Michelle) Ziegler and Jana (Greg) Hildebrand, the Dan Stringer Family and many other close friends around the world. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1989 with a BA in International Finance and worked in Munich and London. After much professional success and countless globe-trotting adventures, he returned to Newport in 2007 for a more relaxed agenda of golf games with mom, beach days and Duffy rides.

Robert will be remembered as a truly gentle person and committed friend who cared deeply about the people around him.

When Robert finds Heaven, he will be reunited with his father, grandparents, and – perhaps - several cell phones he has accidentally dropped into the Bay.

Services will be held at Our Lady Queen of Angels on Wednesday, Oct 6 at 11AM.
