NEWPORT BEACH — Madison McLaren had four goals and two steals for the Sailors who won the Sunset League title Wednesday.

Kaleigh Gilchrist and Brittany Harris scored three goals each, while Kate Klippert added two goals for Newport Harbor (21-5, 5-0 in league).

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Senior Elizabeth Eddy had two assists and one goal, the game-winner with five minutes left for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Wednesday.

Sophomore Savannah Gastineau scored in the 45th minute, followed by senior Gillian Hogan’s blast 10 minutes later. Emily Browne recorded five saves in goal for Newport Harbor (3-5-1 in league), which had strong field play from seniors Paige More and Leslie Drury.

NEWPORT COAST — Maddie Culberson and Alexa Tebault scored two goals each for the Lightning in the Academy League game Tuesday.

Rannah Dabiri, Brenna Van Hoogenstyn, Megan Culberson and Hannah MacLeod had one goal each for Sage Hill. Maddie Culberson, Alexa Thomas, Paige Krueger, Molly Vorwerck, Noosha Deravi, Jordan Team and Dabiri produced one assist each.
