HUNTINGTON BEACH — Taylor Ross scored four goals for the Lightning in their Academy League game Tuesday.

Taylor has 16 goals this season, which leads the league and tied him for the school’s all-time regular season scoring record with his older Braden Ross, who graduated in 2007.

Julius Lee added a goal for Sage Hill.

Beckman 58

IRVINE — Ramon Meija scored 18 points and Danny Cheek added 16 to help the Sea Kings finish undefeated in the Pacific Coast League Tuesday night.

Spencer Haly and Clayton Ragsdale had 10 points each for CdM (22-3, 10-0 in league). Ragsdale also had 11 assists and Mejia hit four three-pointers.

The CIF playoff pairings will be released Sunday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Austin Bagby scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday.

Chris Anderson had 11 points and Chad Seeber had 10 points for Newport Harbor (11-14, 3-6 in league), which plays host to Edison Thursday at 7 p.m.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Frank Shapiro had 18 points and nine rebounds for the Lightning in the Academy League game Tuesday night at Liberty Christian.

Connor Gaughan had six points and 10 rebounds for Sage Hill (16-6, 6-3 in league), which plays host to St. Margaret’s Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

CORONA DEL MAR — Ally Brahs scored the equalizer in the 70th minute for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League finale Tuesday.

Beckman clinched the league title with the tie, while CdM (12-8-4, 6-3-1 in league) is in third.

The Patriots scored early in the second half, but Brahs had an answer later. Her goal came from Syndey Raguse’s free kick that was from just outside of the 18-yard box.

The teams played two five-minute overtime periods. Brahs nearly scored with about a minute left in the second overtime period. The Sea Kings will now await CIF playoff pairings, which will be released Monday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Hannah Jeffrey had 10 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks for the Lightning in the Academy League game at Liberty Christian Tuesday.

Hana Hunt had eight points and nine rebounds, while Maggie Danner had six points and 10 rebounds for Sage Hill (10-9, 5-4 in league), which plays host to St. Margaret’s Thursday at 6 p.m.

IRVINE — Gabby Rapp had 11 points and eight rebounds for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League finale Tuesday night.

Ellie Nadal had seven points and five steals for CdM (14-12, 4-6 in league), which finished fourth in league. Beckman scored the game-winner with five seconds remaining.

The Sea Kings expect an at-large berth when the CIF playoff pairings are released Sunday.

NEWPORT BEACH — Coleen Mead had 16 points, which included five three-pointers, for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday.

Alex Morton had 10 points and 16 rebounds, while Casey Thompson had six points and 13 rebounds for Newport Harbor (9-16, 1-8 in league), which plays at Edison Thursday at 7 p.m.
