Pet Of the Week
Katie
Katie, a 6-month-old Calico, needs a temporary home while she waits for a permanent home.
The kitten’s rescuer, Mike, says: “Where I live is not the place to have kittens. I live in a trailer behind a nursery in an industrial area.â€
Katie has been raised with so much love that she seeks out affection and loves to sit on laps!
“It is not uncommon for cats to seek out industrial areas and boat yards to have their kittens,†DiAnna Pfaff-Martin said. “We often get calls from construction workers finding kittens born in areas that could be dangerous.â€
Call (949) 749-3646 to adopt Katie or to become a foster parent to an animal in need.
See photos of available animals at www.animalnetwork.org, or meet other cats and kittens up for adoption from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, at Fashion Island Shopping Center, sponsored by Russo’s Pet Experience.
