Was it all just a dream or a theft?
A caller reported coins missing from his coffee table in the 300 block of 14th Street at 7:36 a.m. Saturday.
The caller said he thought he put a presidential coin set in a bag to take them to work with him, but he wasn’t sure if he dreamed it or he actually did it. The caller said he thinks the coins might have been stolen and requested an officer to respond.
Sparrow Drive: A caller reported grand theft after more than $3,000 worth of jewelry went missing in the 5700 block at 3:29 p.m. Sunday. The caller said three gold necklaces and one bracelet were stolen.
Bolsa Chica Street and Warner Avenue: A caller reported a fight among three men wearing baseball hats at 10:25 p.m. Sunday. The caller said one of the men was choking another and that they were rolling around on the sidewalk.
Castle Drive: A caller reported being threatened by his landlord in the 5700 block at 2:17 p.m. Saturday. The caller said his 62-year-old male landlord told him he knows skinheads who will cut him up.
Lynn Street: A caller reported a bullet hole in his back sliding glass door in the 16700 block at 1 p.m. Friday. The caller said he is sure it’s a bullet hole because it is perfectly round. The incident happened 10 minutes prior and the glass was ready to fall apart. The officer reported the hole was possibly from a BB gun.
Opal Circle: A caller reported a loud party with at least 30 people in the 8100 block at 9:59 p.m. Saturday. The caller said there was also a deejay and people out front.
Main Street: A caller reported a disturbance involving juveniles in the 18600 block at 3:10 p.m. Sunday. The caller reported two 13- or 14-year-old males were riding around a parking lot, yelling at people. The caller said he asked them to leave, but they refused.
20th Street: A caller reported vandalism occurred to his gray Jeep Cherokee in the 300 block at 12:59 a.m. Friday. The caller said all four tires were punctured and that he could hear the air coming out of them as he worked in his garage. The caller said he saw his neighbor in an alley at the same time carrying a beer.
Bushard Street: A caller reported petty theft after her iPod Shuffle was stolen from her bike in the 19000 block at 4:29 p.m. Sunday.
Pacific Coast Highway and Brookhurst Street: A caller reported an elderly male driving on the sidewalk in a dark green van at 4:35 p.m.
Magnolia Street and Atlanta Avenue: A caller reported that a woman in a white Suburban hit a boy on a bike near a coffee shop at 8:05 a.m. Friday. The caller said the woman then went up to the teenager and started yelling at him.
Warner Avenue: A caller reported an abandoned vehicle at a video game store at 9:57 a.m. Saturday.
Los Amigos Circle: A caller reported a domestic dispute at 6:26 p.m. Sunday.
Newhope Street: A caller reported a stolen vehicle at 10:44 a.m. Sunday.
Warner Avenue: A caller reported a vehicle burglary report at 2:18 p.m. Saturday.
