Don Perkins, 55, passed away at Hoag Hospital on July 14, 2009 following a brief illness.

Don was born in Los Angeles on June 25, 1954. He was the only son of Carol Woldenberg Perkins and Robert Woodman Perkins. Don was raised in Corona del Mar, where he attended elementary school. Born with cerebral palsy, Don was still able to achieve a well rounded education, graduating from high school at Mardan School. He worked for all of his adult life at Mardan School as an office assistant.

A resident of Costa Mesa for the past 20 years, Don was a direct descendant of Isaac Allerton who came to America on the Mayflower in 1619. Don was a devout Christian, loving and trusting in the Lord.

Don was preceded in death by his mother, Carol and is survived by his father, Robert. Burial at sea will be private.
