Center renovations almost complete
The Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley is almost done with its $50-million renovations that will create a new outpatient facility.
The construction of the 106,500-square-foot, six-story Orange County Patient Care Pavilion is expected to be completed in August, said Debra Culver, the hospital’s director of marketing and public relations.
The facility will be devoted solely to outpatient procedures to meet the increased needs of the community, which has grown more than 330%, according to Culver.
“It expands our ability to deliver a lot more outpatient service,†Culver said.
The pavilion’s services will include cancer, cardiovascular, obesity and cardiac rehab centers, according to Culver.
The patient care pavilion, Culver said, will be available to patients in phases starting in August.
