Judith Mary Philippi Homme

Judith “Judy� Mary Philippi Homme, aged 72, passed

away on Monday, June 15, 2009 in Walnut Creek, CA from

cancer. Judy was born on March 16, 1937. Her parents were

Robert and Jennie Belle Philippi. After spending most of

her childhood in San Francisco, she moved to the East Bay

where she graduated from Piedmont High in 1955, and

went on to get her Bachelor’s Degree at UC Berkeley where

she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. Judy lived in Newport

Beach for 30 years raising her daughters, and later moved to

Marin County where she spent the last 15 years of her life.

She was a lover of the arts and enjoyed regular lectures and

rehearsals at the San Francisco Symphony. She is survived

by all three daughters, Christine Landry, Cheryl Richey and

Michelle Homme, and five grandchildren. Judy’s family is

celebrating her life in a private service.
