COSTA MESA — Michael Anderson had a walk-off hit, driving in the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Lions in a nonconference game Wednesday.
Anderson drove in Keegan Freeman, who doubled in the ninth. Freeman went four for four and two stolen bases.
Derek Craddock went three for three for Vanguard (8-13).
Richard Jessup earned his first pitching win of the season after 4 1/3 innings of relief that included two hits, no runs and two strikeouts.

Jake Melone had nine kills for OCC (7-5, 3-2 in conference).
Alex Samuelson led the Knights (0-12, 0-6) with eight kills.
