Zov’s Neighborhood Café Offers Spring Prix Fixe Menus & New Happy Hour Specials

Zov’s Neighborhood Cafés in Newport Coast and Irvine are offering two prix fixe menus, reasonably priced at $12 and $19 for lunch and dinner, respectively. In addition, the Café locations offer a nightly Happy Hour menu from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m, with specialty martinis priced at $7 and bar appetizers priced at $5 each.

PRIX FIXE MENUS:

The new prix fixe lunch menu, priced at $12, will offer the following:

STARTER (choice of one):

• CAESAR SALAD ~ romaine hearts, house made Caesar dressing & Parmesan croutons

• HUMMUS ~ tahini chickpea puree with toasted pita

ENTRÉE (choice of one):

• PETITE SIRLOIN BURGER ~ brie cheese, lettuce, tomato, herb aioli on French roll, served with shoestring potatoes

• ANGEL HAIR ~ tomato, garlic, basil, pine nuts, Feta & Parmesan

• ASIAN CHICKEN NOODLE SALAD ~ cabbage, mint, rotisserie chicken & spicy peanut dressing

The dinner menu, priced at $19, will include the following:

STARTER (choice of one):

• CAESAR SALAD ~ romaine hearts, house made dressing, Parmesan croutons

• BRUSCHETTA ~ tomatoes, olives, herbs, Feta cheese on toasted bread

• HUMMUS ~ tahini chickpea puree and toasted pita

ENTRÉE (choice of one):

• MORROCAN CHICKEN BOWL ~ grilled chicken breast, Jasmine rice pilaf & Charmoula tomato relish

• GRILLED BEEF KEBOB ~ citrus marinade, tomato-cucumber salad, Jasmine rice pilaf & yogurt mint sauce

• SPICY LINGUINI & SHRIMP ~ olives, capers & spicy tomato herb sauce

The prix fixe menus are offered Monday – Thursday during normal business hours.

HAPPY HOUR:

In addition, Zov’s Neighborhood Cafés have introduced a new nightly Happy Hour menu, available from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., featuring Specialty Martinis priced at $7 and Bar Appetizers at $5, including:

• Grilled Min Chicken Kebobs – pomegranate molasses & cabbage slaw

• Crispy Shoe String Potatoes – roasted red pepper aioli

• Roasted Chicken “Sloppy Joes” – melted Swiss cheese & spicy tomato sauce

• “Chips & Salsa” – crispy pita points with jalapeno tomato-cucumber relish & crumbled feta

• Herb & Parmesan Rice Fritters – spicy tomato dipping sauce

• Zov’s Nachos – crispy pita chips, cheese, tomato relish & guacamole (add chicken $1.75)

Hours of operation for Zov’s Cafés in Newport Coast and Irvine are Monday – Thursday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Friday from 11a.m. – 10 p.m.; Saturday from 8 a.m – 10 p.m.; Sunday from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.; and a nightly Happy Hour from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
