EL CAJON — Elvis Whitelow finished with 20 points and eight rebounds in the Lions’ Golden State Athletic Conference game Tuesday.

Andrew Ellis has 17 points for Vanguard (4-10, 3-3 in conference). Gregory Scott hit one of two free throws for the Lions with one second left in regulation, and Vanguard outscored SDC, 11-8, in OT.
