‘Eaters’ baseball alumni will be welcomed back

The UC Irvine baseball program will hold its annual Alumni Weekend, Feb. 5-7.

The three-day event will be capped by the alumni game, Feb. 7 at 12:30 p.m. at Anteater Ballpark. The public is invited and no admission will be charged.

Following the game, a barbecue will be held for alumni, coaches and players on this year’s team.

A casual batting practice will be held the night before the game and the third annual Grip ’Em & Rip ’Em Golf Tournament is scheduled Feb. 5 at Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton. The tournament begins at 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by dinner and a silent auction.
