SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Senior Morgan Hembarsky made a career-high seven three-pointers on her way to a career-high 23 points for the Lightning in the Academy League road game Friday.
Tierney Danner had 13 points and 14 rebounds, while senior Stephanie Garrison added 10 points and 11 boards for Sage (10-6, 1-1 in league).

Williams headed in a corner kick from junior Paul Zubatov.
Goalkeeper Zak Mauer-Erickson sparkled for the Sea Kings (3-5-3), according to Coach Pat Callaghan, who said CdM dominated play in the second half.
Callaghan also praised the defensive play of Brian Ford, Alfie Novak and Greg Allen.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Senior Evan Walker scored in the 20th minute to give the Sailors a 1-0 lead, but they couldn’t hold on in the Sunset League game at Edison Friday.
Senior Will Munoz assisted on the goal. Junior goalie Kyle Evans had five saves for Newport (6-5-2, 0-2 in league).
