Claire Weaver

Claire Anne Weaver was born Claire Anne Gottschalk on May

16, 1949 in Chicago. She was the daughter of Louis A. and

Helen R. Gottschalk. Claire is survived by her partner in life,

Robert Moore, her daughter, Tracy Cable, her brother, Guy

Gottschalk, her sister, Louise Clickner, three nieces named Erin,

Leah and Sara, and her nephew, Hampton. Claire’s father, Dr.

Louis Gottschalk passed along on Thanksgiving Day of 2008

and her mother, Dr. Helen Gottschalk, passed along in May of

1993.

Claire was an Orange County Mental Health Worker for many

years and, later, earned her Nursing Degree from Saddleback

Community College in 1981. She practiced nursing for over

12 years in Laguna Beach, at South Coast Medical Center, and

she worked with oncology patients in home. At the time of her

death, she enjoyed reading, gardening, her friends, and loving

her cat, Snickerdoodle and dog, Brookie.

Friends and loved ones are welcome to come celebrate her life

and honor her passing on Jan. 30 from 1:30-5:00 pm at 4607

Perham Road in Corona Del Mar, CA. There will be a beach

memorial service at 2:00, followed by a reception from 3:00-

5:00. Anyone wishing to send cards or flowers can have them

delivered to Robert Moore at 424 ½ Fernleaf Avenue, Corona

del Mar, CA 92625.
