Karri Currier, a sophomore transfer from Northern Arizona, topped three Vanguard University players named All-Golden State Athletic Conference in women’s soccer.
Currier was joined among the 30 honorees by teammates Danielle Dintino and Elin Sandgren.
Currier compiled a team-high 19 points, scoring seven goals and adding five assists to help the Lions finish 9-5-3, 4-4-2 in conference, good for fifth place. Currier played in all 17 games, all starts, for Coach Randy Dodge’s unit, which lost, 2-1, in overtime to The Master’s in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament Nov. 4 in Santa Clarita.
Dintino, a sophomore who played forward and midfield, collected seven goals and four assists in 17 games. She started 15 times for the Lions, who were 7-1-1 at home.
Sandgren, a freshman midfielder from Sweden, also started all 17 games, recording one goal and two assists.
