Paintball returns

Paintball enthusiasts took aim Saturday at the OC Fair & Events Center with the return of the Giant Paintball Park to Costa Mesa.

The park includes three outdoor fields with varying terrain and props. This year’s park includes a mock wild West-type setting where visitors can reenact their favorite spaghetti Western shootout scenes. A medieval castle, a course with numerous tunnels to climb through, and barricades to jump over complete the park.

Open through mid-April, the paintball enthusiasts can suit up 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $25. Equipment rental prices vary. The park also is available Monday through Thursday for private parties. Call (562) 867-9600 for more.
