Robert Lynn Ratliff

Robert “Bob” Ratliff passed away October 22, 2008 in his home in Newport Beach.

Born in Pasadena on October 28, 1940 to Edwin “Bus” Ratliff and Helen Christian Ratilff, Bob attended Pasadena High School (Class of 1958), played on the varsity golf team and later attended Pasadena City College, where he met his wife , Barbara. In 1959 Bob went into the family business with his brother , Richard Ratliff - The Christian Co, Wholesale Building Materials - where he held the office of President until his retirement. He was very involved with the building trade organizations and the Southern California Roofing Association.

Bob is survived by his Mother, Helen C. Ratliff of Pasadena, his former wife, Barbara Boatman , Daughter Susan Ratliff - Grandchildren Mark and Stephanie, Son Jeffrey Ratliff- Grandchildren Colby and Clay, brother Dick Ratliff, Nephews, Brad and Doug Ratliff and their families. He was very loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

Services will be held Wednesday, November 5 at 11:00am - Corona del Mar Community Congregation Church, 611 Heliotrope, Corona del Mar
