International Day of Peace is Sunday

The Center for Global Peace & Prosperity will host a Sacred Sunday gathering at 11 a.m. Sunday, in conjunction with the International Day of Peace.

The United Nations’ International Day of Peace, marked every year on this date, is a global holiday when individuals, communities, nations and governments highlight efforts to end conflict and promote peace. The gathering will be led by Rev. Diane Walcott Watson, who founded the center. The focus of Watson’s discussion will be how inner peace in our hearts brings peace in the world.

The weekly Sacred Sunday gatherings are based on Science of Mind techniques, a spiritual practice of understanding that through recognition of and unification with a divine source, we can attain anything, drawing on all the abundance and prosperity in the universe.
