COSTA MESA- A&E;’s top-rated show “Intervention” filmed its first show at Costa Mesa nonprofit treatment center New Directions for Women. A&E; filmed a patient beginning treatment on Saturday May 24, 2008 at New Directions For Women, 2607 Willo Lane in Costa Mesa.
New Directions for Women is providing a 90-day treatment for the incoming patient. New Directions for Women is also the site of a monthly Intervention Workshop hosted by A&E; Interventionist Ken Seeley
ABOUT A&E;’s “INTERVENTION” The Intervention Television series profiles people whose dependencies on drugs and alcohol or other compulsive behavior has brought them to a point of personal crisis and estranged them from their friends and loved ones. Each Intervention episode ends with a surprise intervention that is staged by the family and friends of the alcohol or drug addict.
