DAILY PILOT CUP BOYS 3-4 GOLD DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP:

The Carden Hall boys’ third- and fourth-grade Gold Division team exploded for four goals in the second half, winning its first boys’ Gold Division title in the ninth annual Daily Pilot Cup tournament.

Carden Hall defeated Mariners, 4-0, Sunday at Costa Mesa Farm Complex. Mariners was playing for the first Gold Division title for the school for any division.
