AARP Driver Safety class set in May
The AARP Driver Safety Program is an eight-hour classroom refresher course especially designed for drivers age 50 and over to help recognize their physical limitations and learn how to best compensate for them so as to reduce accidents and retain driving privileges. Also, participants will learn new traffic laws and review rules of the road.
A certificate is awarded at the end of the two-day class which may qualify the holder for an insurance discount.
The class will take place May 20 and 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Laguna Beach Senior Center, lower level, 384 Legion St., Laguna Beach.
The cost is $10 per person, and checks must be made payable to AARP.
