COSTA MESA  All 12 Orange Coast College players scored to help the Pirates earn an 86-68 Orange Empire Conference women’s basketball victory over visiting Riverside Monday.

OCC sophomore Courtney Ford scored a game-high 23 points to lead four Pirates in double figures, including freshman Niki Wakamiya, who made her only field-goal attempt and all eight of her foul shots to finish with 10 points.

Sophomore Brittany Taylor was five of six from the field and two for two from the free-throw line to produce her 12 points, while sophomore Katie Kissee netted a pair of three-pointers on her way to 11 points for the winners.

Orange Coast, ranked No. 5 in the state and No. 3 in Southern California, improved to 21-3, 5-1 in conference.

Ford had a game-high 14 rebounds and added four assists and a steal to help the Pirates maintain their hold on the conference lead.

Sophomore Lee Wang and freshman Casey Gomez had seven points apiece in a game that featured 53 fouls, 30 by the Tigers (9-14, 2-4).

The game was originally scheduled Wednesday, but was postponed due to a leak in the OCC gym roof.
