Eagles’ McKendry up for player of the year honor

Estancia High senior Connor McKendry, the Golden West League’s Most Valuable Lineman, has been nominated as an Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year.

He is among a select group of players who are eligible to be selected as one of 50 who will be a national Red Zone Player of the Year. High school coaches across the nation nominated one player from their team as their player of the year. As a nominee, each player will receive a certificate to acknowledge his accomplishment.
