OCTA seeks members for advisory committees
The Orange County Transportation Authority needs members for two new committees that will advise the authority’s board on environmental issues.
Seats are available on the allocation committee, which will make recommendations on water quality improvement projects, and the environmental oversight committee, which will oversee an agreement between the authority and state and federal agencies to protect the environment while building freeway projects.
Committee seats will go to members of the public, resource and transportation agencies, and environmental groups, and members’ terms are three years.
Applications will be accepted through Oct. 5. For information or to apply, visit www.octa.net/environmental, or call or e-mail Marissa Espino, (714) 560-5607 or [email protected].
