Allan Oakley Hunter, III, known as Trey
(May 7, 1989-September 22, 2007)
Born in Newport Beach, California. Graduate of Harbor Day School & Corona del Mar High School; freshman student at New York University.
A beautiful, gifted young man, brilliant student, lover of the ocean and all things artistic; he was especially passionate about literary reading and writing, and a remarkable range of films and music. Trey had countless adoring friends who loved him dearly and will grieve his loss for many years to come. He was an artistic mentor and personal hero to his parents and nearly everyone who knew him.
Survived by mother Sherry Chamblee Hunter, eleven year old brother, Blake Christian Hunter, newborn baby sister, Lucy Grace Hunter, father Allan O. Hunter, Jr., step mother, Tiffany Smith Hunter, grandmothers Geene Hunter of Santa Barbara, California and Della Chamblee of Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by grandfathers Allan Oakley Hunter and James Flynn Chamblee.
“Precious Trey, you left us far too early. Our hearts ache, profoundly, without you. We’ll miss you forever, magnificent son and loyal loving friend. We’ll always be grateful for your remarkable inspiration and affections, and our exquisite times with you. We take solace in knowing that you’re resting peacefully with our Lord in heaven.”
Services September 28, 10:30 am at Mariners Church in Irvine with burial afterward at Pacific View Memorial Park, Corona Del Mar.
