CORONA DEL MAR — Corona del Mar High couldn’t hold a late lead and fell to Dos Pueblos, 9-7, on Friday at CdM.
Max Bergeson had two goals, an assist and a steal for the Sea Kings (4-2), who play another consolation game today at 8:30 a.m. at CdM.
Either the tournament’s 13th or 15th place game will follow in the afternoon for CdM.

COSTA MESA — Estancia’s girls’ volleyball improved its record to 6-2 after beating Marina 25-19, 25-16 and 25-23 Friday night.
The combination of Annie Tomasek and Olivia Schow, both having 11 kills, proved to be too much for Marina to handle.
Sarah Braunsdorf led the Eagles (5-3) with six aces.
Tomasek recorded 15 kills in a 25-15, 25-19, 25-18 victory over Tustin Thursday.
Schow and Maddie Stack had four aces each in the nonleague match.

COSTA MESA — Lauren Draganza shot even-par 35 for medalist honors in a round that featured birdies on hole No. 5, 6 and 7 in the Sailors’ Sunset League match at Costa Mesa Country Club.
Kendall Horn (41), Tiffany Kim (41), Morgan Moody (42), Ali Thomas (47) also contributed for Harbor (6-1, 2-0 in league).
The Sailors play in Kings High Tournament at Quail Ranch Monday at 11:30 a.m.

COSTA MESA — Taylor West shot six-over-par 41 to earn medalist honors for the Eagles in their Golden West League match at Costa Mesa Country Club Thursday.
Kim Haycraft (43), Ashley Peters (44), Jackie Crosson (50) and Nuschin Tasbihchi (54) also contributed for Estancia (5-0, 2-0 in league).
The Eagles face cross-town rival Costa Mesa Tuesday at Costa Mesa Country Club.

Ashley Varner shot 45; 47 for Kelly Moorhead and Amanda Johnson both had 47. Katherine Hanson and Monica Phan shot 50 for CdM (2-3, 2-0 in league).
