Salvaged items from riverboat replica on sale

The era of the Pride of Newport will finally close this week, with salvaged items from the riverboat replica going on sale today and the barge that was the boat’s base set to be scuttled Tuesday.

Some etched windows, lamps, chandeliers and other memorabilia were salvaged before the boat was dismantled this summer. They’ll be available for purchase for a week on eBay, beginning today, with proceeds going to the nautical museum.
