Manhattan Beach painter’s art on display at airport
Commuters at John Wayne Airport may enjoy the artwork of Manhattan Beach painter Mona-Lisa Lind as they purchase tickets and await luggage in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal.
Lind, a native of Sweden, is the latest artist to join the airport’s ongoing Community Focus Program, which began in 1996. She has displayed her work at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Santa Monica Art Studio and a museum in Falun, Sweden.
Several of her paintings will remain on display at the terminal’s ticket counter, security checkpoint areas and baggage carousels 1 and 4 through Oct. 15.
More information about the artist is available at www.artbymonalisa.com.
