Shoe connoisseurs have a new shopping option in Costa Mesa. Harlow, a fashion-forward boutique for men and women at The LAB, just opened a second boutique at The CAMP in Costa Mesa, which focuses on incredible shoes. Owner Kerri Harlow offers an expanded selection of shoes for men and women, handmade jewelry, perfumes and skin care by Sumbody and Hakansson at her new Victorian-inspired store. Women’s shoe collection includes Marc by Marc Jacobs, Christian Lacroix, Pucci, Joie, 12th Street by Cynthia Vincent, Goldenbleu, Charlotte Ronson and Kate Spade.

Harlow’s original store feels like an oversized walk-in closet with ultra-hip up-and-coming designer fashions and established designers.  Don’t miss Project Playhouse

Tomorrow will be the only chance to enter HomeAid’s Project Playhouses, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. The elaborate children-sized playhouses were designed by top California builders and combine the best in home building with childhood imagination. Tickets cost $20 or $75 for a family four-pack. Free admission for children 3 and younger. The playhouses will be on display for eight weeks and sold at auction Oct. 13.  Airstream trailer up for bid on eBay

Here’s your opportunity to own Newport Beach-based lifestyle designer Barclay Butera’s customized Airstream trailer. Butera gives back to the community by posting his signature-designed Airstream on eBay for a starting bid of $25,000. The bidding ends Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. All of the auction funds raised will go to Children’s Action Network. The charity helps find homes for children in foster care. The 19’ Bambi Airstream is styled in a “hip lounge” interior, which includes black-and-white striped exterior canopy and window treatments, leopard-print carpeting, custom leather banquette cushions, linens with a Greek key pattern and other Butera signature textiles.  Festival of Children continues

Join the sixth annual Festival of Children at South Coast Plaza, a celebration of childhood on Saturdays and Sundays through September. It benefits more than 60 children’s charities from O.C. and L.A. Take part in free, fun activities for the entire family from noon to 4 p.m.
