OCC Foundation names chairman, vice chairman
Newport Beach resident David A. Grant, president emeritus of Orange Coast College, has been elected chairman of the OCC Foundation for the 2007-08 academic year.
The Foundation, established in 1985, supports the college by “encouraging gifts of time, treasure and talent from alumni, campus and community members,†and has received more than $53 million in gifts since its inception.
Grant was a professor and administrator at the college for 33 years, and served as its president from 1989 to 1995.
Newport Coast resident and Rutan & Tucker law partner Patrick Munoz will serve as the foundation’s vice chairman.
Jeff Teller, president of the Orange County Marketplace, will be treasurer, and Newport Beach realtor Janet Terrell will be secretary.
