A memorial service for former Corona del Mar resident Virginia

Spoor Dietrich will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Hooper & Weaver

Mortuary in Nevada City, Calif.

Originally from Santa Barbara, Mrs. Dietrich attended UCLA and was

later active in the PTA, the Republican Party and various alumni

groups. She and her husband lived in Corona del Mar from 1970 to

1979. She died Dec. 13 at an Auburn, Calif., care center. She was 80.

Mrs. Dietrich is survived by her husband, Harry L. Dietrich; her

sister, Jane Wuest; son R. Wyatt; daughters Dale Miller and Julie

Cuccia; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
