Three men were injured when two cars collided at the intersection

of Brookhurst Street and Yorktown Avenue on Friday night.

Anaheim resident Quynh Tran, 18, was driving a green 1990 Honda

northbound on Brookhurst when he collided with Julian Braun, 21, of

Costa Mesa, who was driving eastbound on Yorktown.

Tran sustained head, neck and lower back injuries and was taken to

UCI Medical Center in Orange along with his passenger, 23-year-old

Anaheim resident Vu Nguyen.

Braun was also taken to UCI Medical Center for treatment, but the

extent of his injuries was not known, Huntington Beach Police Lt. Ron

Burgess said.

Huntington Beach police officers cited Tran for failing to stop at

a red light and for driving without a license, Burgess said.
