The Huntington Beach Host Club will host its 10th annual

The Bolsa Chica Wetlands

will conduct its annual California Coastal Cleanup from 9 a.m. to

The City of Huntington Beach and Simple Green will host the

California Coastal Cleanup Day. This annual beach cleanup will be

held at every beach along the coast to bring environmental awareness

to everyone. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on the

north side of the Huntington Beach Pier. Free parking will be offered

at Bolsa Chica State Beach and vans will transport participants.

TUESDAY

KOCE will present “Mendez vs. Westminster: For All the Childrenâ€

at 7:30 p.m. The 30-minute documentary covers the landmark lawsuit

that outlawed the segregation of Latinos in Orange County schools.

The show will air again at 10:30 p.m., Oct. 9 and 9:30 p.m., Oct. 22.

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 53 will offer a

three-session course titled, “Introduction to Navigation†from 6 to 8

The Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce will host the annual art

show and business expo. The show will run all day Oct. 5 and 6 at the

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Orange County Chapter

will present the 20th annual MS 150 Bay to Bay Bike Tour from

Huntington State Beach to Mission Bay in San Diego. Participants from

Huntington Beach will be treated to an overnight stop and luau in

The Amigos de Bolsa Chica will host the 2002 Run For The

Birds/Walk For The Wetlands. Registration will start at 7 a.m. The

The National Brain Tumor Foundation will hold its First annual

Orange County Angel Adventure to raise funds for medical research and

patient services. Activities will include a three-mile

non-competitive walk, followed by lunch and an awards ceremony where

prizes will be given to the top three fund-raisers and fund-raising

teams. Each participant will receive a free T-shirt and goodie bag,

and all participants raising the $250 minimum will be entered in a

Huntington Beach will host the Economic Outlook Conference. The

half-day conference will feature speakers from the fields of

The Moms Offering Moms Support Club, a nonprofit support group for

The Pacific Coast Mothers Club, based in the Huntington Beach

area, is actively seeking new members. The group offers stay-at-home

educational monthly outings just for moms, and volunteer
