WEATHER FORECAST
It should be a beautiful and sunny day today with a few breezes. Highs
will reach about 60, and lows should be in the low 40s. The lows may even
reach 39 degrees.
Expect clear conditions Thursday as well, with highs in the mid-60s in
Newport-Mesa and lows again in the low 40s.
So far, it’s looking like a somewhat cloudy and cool weekend.

BOATING FORECAST
In the inner waters, the northwesterly winds will blow their typical
10 to 15 knots, 2-foot waves and a west swell of 5 to 7 feet. Conditions
will ease into the evening.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow stronger at 15 to 25
knots, with 2- to 4-foot waves and a northwest swell of 10 to 13 feet.
Later, the winds will blow 10 to 20 knots, with 1- to 3-foot waves and a
northwest swell of 9 to 11 feet.
SURF
Today’s the best day when it comes to size as a result of the latest
northwest swell. Expect surf in the waist- to shoulder-high range. The
swell will decrease in size Thursday, but another swell will roll in
Sunday.
