2900 block at 7 a.m. Friday.

Mesa Verde Drive East: A drunk in public was reported in the 1500

block at 12:18 a.m. Saturday.

West 18th Street: Illegal camping was reported in the 500 block at

8:15 a.m. Saturday.

West 19th Street: Possession of a controlled substance was reported in

the 700 block at 1:27 a.m. Saturday.

NEWPORT BEACH

Via Oporto and Via Lido: Throwing objects out of a vehicle toward

another vehicle was reported at 11:33 p.m. Saturday.

West Oceanfront: Patio furniture was reported stolen from a patio in

the 3300 block at 3:06 p.m. Saturday.

Jamboree Road: A man reported a suspect took his compact disc player,

leather case, compact discs and a Timex watch from his hotel room in the

1100 block at 3:34 p.m. Saturday.

Bonnie Doone Terrace: A vicious animal was reported in the 1000 block

at 7:41 a.m. Sunday.
